Category Archives: Pretty Cool

So the past day, I think, I was working on this stuff because I was so so sick. Well, It’s a picture of a pug, and I’m hoping to use it as an example for my first ever Jello tutorials. I’m thinking of a super snappy name for them, though… Like jello-torials or jeltorials or something cool like that. (Feel free to comment and help me out here) In’t that cool? I think my first tutorial will be… dun dun dun, secret. Actually, here’s a hint, it’s gonna probably be about masking images, which is totally nerdy, so brace yourself. Okay, so there are two, since I enjoy playing with colors. Everything there is MINE. All brush credit go to their respective owners and blah, blah.

Here yah go! ^

I know, it’s really bad quality. :( Well, here you go, feel free to admire and comment!

First of all, congratulations to my sister, owner of muphinlair. Yes, she is now the proud owner of Louie, a month (I believe) old cockatiel. He’s very gentle and tame and stuff, but quite young, so he’s harder to train. He currently resides in his spacious green bird cage on the first floor of our house. :mr.green:

Another wonderful occurrence: We finally had our party! Yes, it’s quite late to have a birthday party that is weeks from the actual date. It was a sleepover, so… yeah. I stayed up ’till 7:40-8:00 ish, so I was pretty tired. That whole day depended on my one hour of sleep for that day. After the sleepover, I watched a movie with two of my good friends. It was Get Smart. The movie itself was pretty decent. I can’t say that I openly loved it but it was just pretty good. The whole movie revolves around a man, Maxwell Smart, who works for Control, a high-tech spy organization that monitors KAOS, another high-tech organization that usually deals with explosives, etc.

Well, the movie was based on an old and popular comedy show, Get Smart, 1965. Anyway, back to the move:

To my amusement, the movie basically uses the same opening scenes (with updated sets and theme song) showing Max Smart heading to Control, passing through many high-tech gates, and finally ending up in the telephone booth, which is an elevator like contraption. The movie was pretty humuorous, but sometimes a it predictable.

Coincidentally, the following day I watched the old series, Get Smart on KCODC or something like that. It was funny in a quaint, old fashioned kind of way.

So tomorrow is my big school field trip day thingy. I know, most of you are all like, “Wow, you’re still in school?” I know. UGH. Haha, well, anyway, tomorrow is gonna be the field trip to Universal Studios. I’ve been working forever to be able to go and I don’t know why… okay, well, I do… but whatever. Yes, I’ve never ever been, and that’s ok, I guess. Also, right on that day that Ive been working all year for, my cousin is having a graduation. UGH. It’s annoying how things work out, huh? It also makes me sad because I don’t want to miss either one…

So… I guess I’m, excited… I mean, it’s a theme park n all. I just don’t know how long we’ll be there… I hope we’ll have at least 4 hours to just ride stuff and blah, but we’ll probably only have about 2 hours or something stupid like that… Guh. I just don’t know what to expect… Well, I’d like to know your views about Universal and stuff… so comment and blah!!

Stupid as I may seem, I have figured this out! I have discovered a new formula so to speak:

c as in contest

s as in shamelessly advertising

v as in views per day

a as in total views after contest

p as in people voting

Formula numer uno:

t as in total contestants

t= s2

So, c2(t,v)p,2

So say I had two contests and I advertised four times, that would bring me (hopefully) twice the amount I advertised, so eight. Then, when the contests began (saying that each contestant entered in both) let’s say they entered and checked the blog three times a day to see who was winning. Then, let’s say three people who were just voting checked twice a day to see who was winning. So multiplying the contests by two (since there are two contests) and then multiplying that with the total contestants viewing three times a day (v=3) would get you half of the problem. Then, you have to multiply that product with the product of the people voting times the number of collative views for voters per day. Seeing as three people are just voting, that would be 6 views. Doing all of that multiplication would get you some number of views….I dunno. Around 280 views?? I’m probably stupid and doing this wrong, but you get my drift, right? Si.

If that’s how you spell, I can carry on. Well, today was one of those busy busy days. Pshhhwa. I had some summer cleaning to do, a contest to enter in and a piano recital to dread. Ack, such a busy schedule. Well, I had to do some shopping for something nice to wear today. I ended up getting a nice skirt from Ann Taylor and saved at least 80 bucks or so. And I wore a plain white shirt with a necklace my mom made, what a good deal, huh? Sorry… you didn’t come here to see what a good consumer I am, did you? Well the recital turned out great, although I was pretty much the youngest kid there, and I was a new student, I did okay… I guess. I played a theme from Moonlight Sonata since another kid was playing that originally.

Guess what today is? A photoshoot! I get to use a laptop, so I’m posting this while they’re taking a picture of me using it. How cool, huh? Well, first we had to work with fake raccoons. It was pretty cool. I got to hold one! At first, I couldn’t stop laughing, I mean, it’s a RACCOON! Well, break time…. I have to finish my blueburry muffin!

-Okay, back. Well, after the shoot, my Mom’s gonna go to the mac store and get me my new tablet. I had one, but it was too small, so we returned it and stuff… now I’m getting a new one, but my mom says its over 200 dollars for medium bamboo tablet. AAAH! I don’t have that kind of money!!-

Hmm, as I was saying before, we are at a photo shoot. Can’t say much about it though…

Dang, I’m so inactive. =O Well, now I’m back. I must tell you about something really awesome. My neighbor made these little pillow things that you can heat up in the microwave and they’re nice and warm for hours. I know it sounds weird, but it’s really very cool! It’s super warm for cold places, and I really wish I had brought it to camp Pali. (but I’d have to take a microwave too… how sad) Well, I’ve been crazily making different sites that look BAD. Aw.

Well, some of you internet freaks might know about tagging. Yes, tag….CYBER TAG. If you don’t the ‘game’ goes as follows: One person will ‘tag’ someone by contacting the person via e-mail, weblog, you name it! Next, the ‘tagged’ person will say 5 cool  about themselves. After that, the person will ‘tag’ 4 other people, and so on. Well, I was tagged, and so, here I go: 1. I am kinda crazy and artsy…. so once, I decided to draw an onion with eyes. He’s now one of my official characters. (He’s actually more of a beet…)2. I thought the boy name Isaac (From Children of the Corn) was a very short woman. -My Bad!-3. I have super long hair. (kinda) I been growing it since I was 6.4. I’m really boring. (have you noticed??)5. I get scared easily, I mean… I was watching a movie called the Fly, where a man gets his head turned into a fly’s. I freaked out. It was a giant fly head!! =O
