So I haven’t been on [wordpress] in well over a year (or almost) but I somehow stumbled over it today and thought I’d just write a short post. First of all, wordpress has changed so much since I was last here. It’s so much more organized and stuff, but I bet you already know that. Anyway, I’d just like to say ‘hi’ and wish you all a happy april 16th.

So, yeah, I haven’t posted in ages, well, I have some nice, long excuses:

Finally, I’ve gotten around to making an entry for Redcowz. It’s kinda late and all, but still,
Very late, but finally finished!!
So I’m finally done, and I know that the cow’s stuffed away in the corner but that’s the best I can do with that ugly cow; shame on you, ugly cow. 
If you read closely, all the cows have a label. Starting from the top to the bottom-left, the inspiration, the neglected, the obvious, the truth. This simply refers to the stuffed cow as the inspiration for the site (sort of) and my project, the neglected is the sad looking red cow because he looks like a much better cow than the one provided, and was not chosen. Then there’s the obvious, which is the cow that was provided for the project, and the truth, which is a cow shown as a diagram for a beef cut. The reason for ‘the truth’ is simply to say, no, cows aren’t red… and yeah some other stuff to, I guess. Yep, it’s all so deep and stuff. I leave you to figure out the rest, MWAHAHAHA.
So today is a nice warm day, sunny and bright, perfect for the beach, right? But first, since I’m at my grandparents’ house I have something else to do… make jam! You see, my grandma has thousands upon thousands of fruit trees and plants and things. After all, she lives right next to the forest, and actually owns part of it. So yesterday, we gathered plums from this giant plum tree that overlooks a hill at the edge of their property. It was surprising that there were so many plums…about seven bowl-fulls and more! We would just collect them when they fell on the ground. Today, we turned many of those bowl-fulls into jar-fulls of plum jam.
Well, we’re still not done with that yet, but we were supposed to go to the beach a while ago. But my cousin is buying a new camera today, so we’re waiting for her to finish up with that. She’s buying the camera from one of her brothers’ friends who makes short videos of pro-skater teams or something… I dunno. So we’re just sitting here waiting. Making jam and playing piano and bloggin and whatnot. (sounds like Stephen ) Well, excuse me for second while I stir the jam! (no, really)
So tonight was my first night spent at my grandparents’ house. Having nothing much of interest to do at 10 at night, I stupidly agreed to watch I am Legend. As some of you might know, I am most probably the biggest chicken you’ll ever meet. So at 10 at night, I went to watch this creepo movie that I know near to nothing about.
So some of you might know the story-line. A certain weird woman develops a cure for Cancer, and stupidly decides test it on thousands of people. Turns out that within about two months of the vaccine, you develop something close to rabies. Guuh… How stupid. Then, some people actually survive the rabies, and become weird bloodthirsty creatures that look like cheese. So Will Smith plays the role of the last man on Earth, Dr. Neville. His only companion his loyal German Shepherd. I won’t spoil the sadness or anything, but I’ve found that when a movie deals with old men and dogs, both die. It’s weird.
Funny that it just occurred to me that I can buy any of the phones verizon is selling… I think… Which means why limit it to just two limited choices? (Well maybe not limited…) Why not the Voyager, or the Juke, the Decoy, or the heart wrenchingly ugly G-zone? The answer is simple:
Voyager, Gian Carlo has one… that’s all you or I need to know. As for the Juke, blech. Simply limited and really quite odd looking. G-zone? Just take a look for yourself. My sister calls it a jogger’s phone. [ugly phone link] Gosh. Haha. And one of the features boasts resistance to the elements, and shock resistance… Pft. A if it were a shoe or something. Yeah. It says, “Built to survive…” maybe 30 years ago, but not now. Yes, it’s definitely unique, but not necessarily in a profoundly positive way. Oh, and it has a timer. Yep, it’s that bulbous lump on the front of the phone. To a hundredth of a second! It’s like some weird spyish device. Joggers Phone? Affirmative.
Then today, as I was scrolling aimlessly down the list of by now all too familliar phones, I noticed an attention sparking addition to the page. NEW, LG Dare. Cool, right? A new, high-end, sleek looking phone packed with cool features, such as a GIANT touchscreen (3 inches, I believe) and a QUERTY keyboard… I really don’t know what that means exactly… And the best thing about it is that the keyboard is a miniscule thing on the touchscreen! Yippee! Let’s all break our phones in frustration as we jab at pixelated buttons with our chunky fingers! Touchscreens simply eradicate the thought of texting with a full keyboard. You have to keep jabbing your finger at keys… it’s weird. I mean, the Dare looks like a really awesome phone, but it’s so new, I don’t know.
Okay, I apologize for my comments, most of which are a little pessimistic, but the fact remains: I need a cellphone, and I don’t know which to buy!!
So, as some of might know, Firefox is promoting its new version… 3! Well, I found it because I was very sick and tired of my Firefox browser quiting for no apparent reason, so I looked it up, and hey… a new version! Well, I don’t know about you, but I have ordered the new version… Why don’t you?
The second great thing about the new version is that they’re trying to set a new record for the most downloads in 24 hours. Pretty good cause, I guess. Well, I just checked the site out again. (about 15 minutes later) And already about 15,000 more people have downloaded it. Cool, huh? Well, the US has so far downloaded the version the most… It’s amazing how some places have around 20,000 downloads, while others have only about 20ish. Actually, I think Madagascar only has 11 downloads. Hey, it’s progress.

Ok, So Mrs. Y told me that we’d do the presentation when our sick group member got back. So now, she’s back, but we really need to get everything done. We have about an hour to polish things up. =(I don’t know how we’ll do this!
So, yeah I’ll try and be more active, but first, let’s delve into a cool, but sickening story about the varying services of sports utility stores:First off, my mom wanted me to get stuff for camp after school, so off we go to Sports Authority to get some cool stuff for camp! Well, I tried on shoes, and finally bought a nice pair of gray sneakers. Next, I had a big fat burrito with green stuff on it, and purposefully didn’t eat it all. -bleh-After my after-lunch-snack, Mom wanted me to go to one more store… DUH DUH DUH DUH…Well, our mistake. We go in there, and hey, it’s alright if overstuffed and cramped is your style. Okay, kinda weird, but I’m sorta okay with that. Next, we ask for changing rooms. (We have all this ski stuff to try on) Well the employee dude says: “Sorry, we don’t have changing rooms.” Okay….? Well, then I kinda freak out. “But we have do have a bathroom.” Okay, not too bad, at least they have that. So, we followed the guy to the back of the store, in the cramped employee section. (And now I can understand why it’s in the back) So he opens the door, and then I really freak out!
n. A small cramped utility space where employees stash extra tools, and supplies. Recommended bring air mask.
It was pretty gross. I wont go in to detail, but hey, my sisters had to go in there, not me. =D So I’m happy.How was you’re weekend??
I am so depressed. My mom wouldn’t let me go to disneyland for my friend’s birthday. It was a sleepover at the hotel, and getting to go to the park before anyone else is there. (By the way, this was an old post in DRAFTS)
